3 Indian clubs in fight for Roy Krishna
Roy Krishna took the Indian Super League by storm last season. The Fijian international scored 15 goals and assisted 6 more as he led ATK to a 3rd ISL title.
His contract with the Kolkata side ended after the season and he is a free agent now and attracting a lot of interest. While Krishna has offers from Europe and other parts of Asia as well, 3 Indian clubs are particularly interested in him.
The first one on the list is obviously the club he played for last season. ATKMB would certainly like to continue having his services and would dread loosing him to a league rival.
The 2nd club is unsurprisingly Mumbai City FC. The Islanders, with the strong investment from the City Football Group behind them, are on fire in the transfer market and would certainly like to rope in one of the best players in Indian club football.
The 3rd one on the list is East Bengal FC. The Red and Golds have had talks with Krishna but with the club yet to announce which league they are going to play in, it remains to be seen how much the talks bear fruit.
