Sunrisers Hyderabad has picked Caribbean hard-hitting batsman Sherfane Rutherford for the remainder of IPL 2021 which will begin from September 19.
23-year-old Rutherford will be replacing English star Jonathan Bairstow, who has opted out of travelling to the UAE for the T20 tournament.
Rutherford is currently playing in Caribbean Premier League where he is representing St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. The southpaw has scored 201 runs in 7 innings at an average of 40.20 and a strike rate of 136.
