India at Tokyo Paralympics: An introduction of all 54 athletes

For the first time, Indiaid sending as many as 54 athletes to the Paralympics. 54 athletes from 9 different sports including Badminton and Taekwondo will represent India at the Tokyo Paralympics. Athletics and Shooting will be India’s largest sporting contingent at this paralympics. Both have 24 and 10 athletes respectively followed by Badminton with 7. The squad comprises of 40 males and 14 females.

48-year-old Parul Dalsukhbhai Parmar is the oldest and at 18-year-old Praveen Kumar is the youngest athlete in the squad.
