Introduction

Sakshi Malik is a Women’s freestyle wrestler, inspired by her grandfather Badlu Ram Sakshi took up wrestling at a very young age. She started her training professionally from age 12 in her home town. In 2016, Sakshi Malik became the first-ever Indian female wrestler to win an Olympic medal at Rio. She has won a silver medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games and a bronze in 2018 edition as well.
