Royal Challengers Bangalore have made three more inclusions to their squad. Sri Lanka duo of pacer Dushmantha Chameera and all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, along with Singapore International Tim David have been added to the squad by the franchise for the remainder of the IPL 2021.
The three players have been picked after the unavailability of certain overseas players. Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa had flown back to Australia owing to personal reasons while the pair of Fin Allen and Scott Kuggeleijn would also not be available due to their national duty for New Zealand.
Wanindu Hasaranga has picked up 33 wickets in 21 T20Is at an average of 14.45 and an economy rate of 6.56 and is also a capable lower-order batsman. Dushmantha Chameera, who is known for his pace, has taken 30 wickets in 28 T20Is at an average of 26.17 and an economy rate of 7.75.
Tim David, who represents Singapore at the international stage, has smashed 558 runs in 14 T20Is at an average of 46.5 and a strike rate of 156.5. David has also featured in various franchise leagues including BBL, PSL, The Hundred.
