In recent years, Spain has been the go to land for Indian clubs for recruiting foreigners and appointing their coaching staff. The effect is lore prominent than ever now, with 45 Spanish nationals working for various Indian Super League(ISL) clubs in the 2020-’21 season. These include players, head coaches and other support staff members. In fact, apart from SC East Bengal and Chennaiyin FC, all other teams have atleast two men from Spain in their team.
