Tokyo Olympics: India’s campaign in Tennis, Skeet ends

Sumit Nagal crashed out from the second round of men’s singles at the Tokyo Olympics. World No.2 Daniil Medvedev showed his calibre and got the victory in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. Daniil, one of the best in the World gave no chances in both sets to the Indian and ran away with the victory. With Sumit’s loss, India’s challenge in Tennis at the Tokyo Olympics comes to an end. Earlier, Ankita Raina & Sania Mirza were knocked out from the Women’s doubles.

In skeet shooting, both Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Mairaj Ahmad Khan failed to qualify for the final of the men’s skeet event in at the Asaka Shooting Range. Angad finished 18th with a score of 120 points while Mairaj finished 25th with 117 points. The cut-off for the final was 122.
